Partial re sign?

Post by sixfoottwo »

Quick question.

Our office has around 12 walks up for resign due to VR and other things.

I've been told today the Parcel duty people who have been made spares etc due to the office putting the oversize back on walks will have 1st pick no matter how long they have been here.

Does that sound fair? Seems seniority has been thrown out the window, asked the Rep and he said yep that's right, it's vne from HR.

Thoughts?

I did think it was strange but the Rep is adament the displaced people ie anyone no matter how long they have been there have first pick off the duties that have gone up on the board.

Rep also said its come from HR and you can't sign for a full time duty if you are a part timer either, no up scaling it's called allowed.

It all seems a bit unfair to me as the displaced people are still in the office all be it doing a different duty every day.
