Talks
I’ve just recently left the company and have quite a few mates stil in the company who think your now going to be sold out for a pay rise about 7-8 percent over 18 months
So you’ll still get all the changes introduced anyway
Your 35 hour working week is out the window
Sick pay has to change
Start and finish times will change
Sunday weekend optional for now
And cwu will say it’s a great deal yet everything they said wasn’t happening will happen and now are agreeing with Royal Mail skint tactics after giving the shareholders all that cash
Question is who would vote yes for it after the money everyone’s lost ?

Re: Talks
It sounds selfish but personally as long as it’s still 37hrs I don’t mind starting later just as long as it’s not 10am. I used to have pride in the job and still do to a degree but I just come in now and work till my finish time and forget about work till the next morning. A pay rise like you suggested again I’m ok with.
People take this job way too personally. If we get the pay rise like you suggested and they don’t try and make you basically live at work like working Sundays and nights I’m ok with that

Re: Talks
I think a lot of them have shares and ulterior motives about pensions and stuff. I agree though I barely care about the company at all now and I’m still there.CRIBMAD wrote: ↑08 Mar 2023, 15:30The real question is .... why the fook would anyone who has managed to escape from this shitty job and company still be posting on this site - seriously i am baffled !bigal383 wrote: ↑08 Mar 2023, 14:58I’ve just recently left the company and have quite a few mates stil in the company who think your now going to be sold out for a pay rise about 7-8 percent over 18 months

Eveything you post is anti-union/doom & gloom. I could handle this if I didn’t sense you were getting some sort of weird thrill out of it all.bigal383 wrote: ↑08 Mar 2023, 14:58I’ve just recently left the company and have quite a few mates stil in the company who think your now going to be sold out for a pay rise about 7-8 percent over 18 months

You’ve supposedly moved onto pastures new? What the hell are you still doing on here, why do you care,it’s all very bizzare?!
“Shorts,in this weather?!”
“If they’re bills I don’t want ‘em!”
“What’s she been ordering now?”

We get it mate.
You think we're doomed.
Do yourself a favour and move on, enjoy yourself, let it go.
It's not healthy to be so obsessed with posting negativity about something that has nothing to do with you.
