I for one do not think RM will honour a single word of this statement. It is a delaying tactic while more executive action is carried out. The CWU are naive to pin their hopes on this statement which is lacking in detail to say the least. I don't think there is any chance of putting things back to where they were, securing a pay deal and planning the future working relations with RM by 12 March. This the deadline they have set themselves. RM will sit back and wait for the 12th and say no to everything and tell the CWU to do their worst. Then we'll see how many obey the strike call.

Why haven’t they still set dates for strike action? even if talks are ongoing, it doesn’t stop them setting a date!

The union said nothing about putting things back to the way they were , that was never going to happen.

I've read the appendix and think it's a major positive step forward.
Any offices that have had revisions clearly there are steps that can be taken around USO compliance etc
Understand the reality may be different but on face value it's good,no?
