What's this "rule 13"? Our rep put a disagreement in but it didn't stop anything? Not heard anything abour "rule 13".

I wonder if that is the correct term for making your non-agreement official.
Saying nothing is read as tacit agreement to changes. Voicing your disagreement and even putting it in writing, continuing to work but disagreeing with changes made, must be actioning rule 13. Perhaps.

Re: Joint Statement tomorrow (hopefully) 2 Mar
No disagreement ever stopped anything at my unit. It is a very large office, hundreds of staff.
Posties quote rules on here all the time but none of them are ever observed.
Staff get bullied daily, they get sacked for dubious reasons, intimidated into doing what they don't want to, and nobody gives a shi*e about rules.

The weird thing about all this is that the population of the UK isn’t shrinking. Addresses are increasing all the time. But they are removing frames.POSTPERSON50 wrote: ↑02 Mar 2023, 12:01Dumped in the yard, fillets taken out awaiting removal

You can request a rule 13 from your area branch
There are a few hurdles to cross to get one and 80% of your office need to attend meeting and sign off
Your branch should have all the details
But local rule 13s are covered by our national action
Details have been on here previously

Why do they never ever make an announcement when they said they were going to make an announcement? So irritating.

If the board reaches past Thompson to do a deal, that at best really undermines him. At worst - for him - it means he's out the door.
They probably have to lay the groundwork for that too.

Re: Joint Statement tomorrow (hopefully) 2 Mar
Literally every RM2000 frame is now 'double slots' (2 address points in one slot). The properties who get a ton of mail are also doubled up, we are having to tray off that mail because it won't fit into the frame. 3 rounds have been merged into 2 all over the place, sorted and eventually delivered by 2 posties not 3. Excess staff doing the parcels or dropped loops.hans solo wrote: ↑02 Mar 2023, 12:58Will be basically the old way of tying upBarnacle wrote: ↑02 Mar 2023, 12:22The weird thing about all this is that the population of the UK isn’t shrinking. Absolute arse first business, the frames are rammed and the traffic is moderate. See how that looks come late November.
