Since our revision and later finishing I have found more people are out for parcel delivery as picking up children on Council estates.
More road traffic so more docket writing and slower doing the round. Plus people complaining why we are so late.

On the rare occasion we get out early enough, the time between people waking up and going to work is the golden hour. If you want to achieve a higher success rate for delivery it makes sense to start earlier not later. That or hammer home the need for people to nominate a safe place. All this scan to route cobblers is useless. People don’t stay off work to wait for a parcel. I’ve noticed no significant change in success rate since it was brought in.

And Rm know it, I think the main reason they want us to scan to route is for accountability. "Well, you scanned it, why wasn't it delivered!.." as opposed to it just being scanned on arrival to the DO.

Same as it should be working 'old way'. Scanned out for delivery and it didn't get delivered. Is anyone scanning them
as 'delivery not attempted'? Or is the COM sending somebody to deliver them later? Or are they being scanned as 'inaccesible' to
fudge the reports?

Not sure just left them outside the linos office in a york, I’d gone nearly two minutes over my time already

You might be right, but under the current system there can be no accountability for those who van share. If I scan my parcels in during morning prep, and my partner delivers the parcel on his or her loop, who is accountable? Like all systems introduced by RM it is half baked and completely flawed.

Later start times for myself is being caught up in the rush hour traffic getting into work.

I can no longer get into the flats as the service button is only active till 12pm, so submit inaccessible in most parcels on the PDA and take it out the next day. Caught out in the school traffic coming back from delivery. This has not made anything easier.

Surely, most of the time, at least one will answer and let you in.
