Executive action needs to be stopped and reversed.

No stupid revisions making jobs impossible to deliver.
Therefore no duty holders being booted off their rounds and their walks cut up.
No later start times.

The horse has bolted at ours.. the rm2000 frames have been taken out, the floor footprint changed without safety or agreement, everything has changed.

And at least 5 have accepted redundancy in principal already.

Everyone has accepted the changes. Union did nothing.

Numerous 'agreements' signed up to by the CWU, have played a major part.

I hope for everyone's sake, especially those with years in this toxic company to serve out yet, that this next agreement is the exception to the rule.

So a joint statement tomorrow, definitely progress then , I think that an offer will be made, everyone will probably have some grievance against part of the offer , especially related to conditions, I personally hope enough middle road terms are offered , its been a very long dispute, and a hard and worrying and emotive stance from our people to defend our rights and working conditions .So a massive announcement tonight, I really hope it gives us the opportunity to give a YES vote this time for our future .

I'd be surprised if they are going to come with an improved offer right now....

In this moment the CWU are simply trying to put a stop to the change that's been brought in already. I can't see a full reversal from Royal Mail. So I am surprised to hear 'talks are going well'. Are the CWU only asking for some things to stop, are they asking for the changes to be reversed....

We'll soon find out.

They will most likely buckle. The joint statement will be able to be read a million different ways and Royal Mail will crack on with executive action. Every person from the Cwu involved in these negotiations during the dispute should step down in disgrace. Massive shafting coming our way, in fact as many of us already know it’s already begun.
