if it doesn't track in realtime or know where you are, how come my manager txt me on my phone and told me i had missed the parcel pick-up i was supposed to collect, and i would have to go back and get it?

The manager will be able to review all the parcel collections for their D.O. each day which will show whether they have been collected(The same way they check to see if pillar box collections have taken place).So that’s how they see if you’ve collected/scanned for parcels.
