WTF is going on ?

the company is rolling in massive changes through E/A , i know the CWU have given them till monday to respond to them pulling all E/A , but our unagreed revision is due to kick in next week which will be a f***ing shitshow and will be massive failure , so what do we do ? accept it or walk out as the company dont seen interested in the statement the CWU have sent them to stop all E/A . .

Walking out (unless it’s official strike action) could be very dangerous.

The best thing people can do is start on time, take breaks, tell the booking office they won’t be rolling over any holiday this year, log off the van if it’s not roadworthy, don’t use your phone if the PDA stops working, do as instructed, come back on time, clock out on time.

Use Royal Mail’s rules and systems against them - for example if sent to another office insist on transport. If the PDA breaks/ runs out of battery, use one of those old cards to write down tracking numbers and when it takes you longer just bring more back.

Has anyone got a link to info regarding the pulling of the unagreed revisions please, I thought I'd read it somewhere on here but can't find it, our fukup is supposed to be starting in two weeks we'd love it if it gets cancelled/delayed/someone actually seeing sense that they've fukt it up

Stronger backing by members doesn't make the CWU any stronger in the workplace, as somebody posted on another forum, how does having two non-exec board members now involved in the discussions really progress the talks when KW & ST are clearly still making all the big decisions.

We'll know by Tuesday if RM are moving.
Ward clearly stated RM need to stop all EA by tomorrow- the exec are then meeting Tuesday and strikes called if they don't.
Personally I think RM are stalling for time again.

MCs also are having revisions/realignments, we're also having re-signs (by shift) as well, with some shifts losing loads of duties

yes 16 fulltime duties being taken out and the workload added to the deliverys that are left and thats from monday morning . , so god knows what we will be walking into and what mess the frames will be .
