I disagree.heraldmoth wrote: ↑22 Feb 2023, 18:47Simple when they’re off, no pay and when it’s quieter no pay it’s not rocket science and your sample size is too small
According to varies managers (some clueless, some not so clueless) they are under the impression the agency gets the same as the agency worker. I've not seen the books/budget so cant know for sure but its the impression they've given me over the years.
(1) If the agency people are only in half the year, thats the equivlent of a full year of posties wages.
(2) If we have agency turnover, thats inefficient as constant training a new guy.
(3) Agency do get holiday pay. If the guys at our office dont use it by end of march they lose it.

Re: Revision working
Work your contacted hours.
You have a start time, and a finish time, stick to them like glue.

Re: Revision working
Same at our place manager has said he doesn’t want agency as they are costing a fortune but his boss has told them no recruits allowed until revision sorted and walks are on existing frame which will create vacancies, it’s hilarious they have no idea

Re: Revision working
Yet another failing revision, RM are getting good at these. Revision = add another 2 hr walking (at least) lose even more staff = less sorting etc. Keep agency = more complaints i guess. Revision only done to satisfy end of year figures, look what £ we can save = more to shareholders and maybe another deserved bonus. PS cant imagine anyone saying this revision IS working.
