A very fun watch so far. It's getting heated. He's squirming.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Darren Jones is very visibily frustrated with the answers that they are receiving.

A letter to the Select Committee ahead of second hearing

Following Simon Thompson’s appearance at a Select Committee meeting on 17 January, the Committee Chair, Darren Jones MP, requested more detail on some of the key topics covered in the meeting and has called a second session today, 22 February.

At that meeting, our CEO Simon Thompson will be joined by International Distributions Services chairman Keith Williams, and operations development director Ricky McAulay.

Ahead of that second Select Committee meeting, Simon has written to Mr Jones to put on record Royal Mail’s position on the three areas of interest to the Committee and looks forward to answering any further questions that the Committee may have.
