The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

Just politely say, I'll do the best I can but I will be finishing at x time. How would you like me to deal with the extra if I run out of time? Put the ball in their court, make it their decision and don't tell them last minute. All the linos/coms KNOW it ain't gonna work. It's their stress though, not yours. If you want the overtime it's going to be a bonanza!

Thats all very well but the reality is that having to go through that process everyday, having to work out how far you think you’ll get and at what point you have to cut off letters and rip round with the tracked . . . its all so unnecessary and stressful.rambo1 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 18:22Just politely say, I'll do the best I can but I will be finishing at x time. Re: our revision starts tomorrow
I can see that if it's not a familiar walk but if you know it well there's no stress and no 'ripping round ' involved. Give yourself plenty of time and don't stress. Bring back (if thats what they want you to do) , what you have left. They know it's most likely gonna fail every day so don't worry about it, let them.mjd24 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 18:49Thats all very well but the reality is that having to go through that process everyday, having to work out how far you think you’ll get and at what point you have to cut off letters and rip round with the tracked . . . its all so unnecessary and stressful.rambo1 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 18:22Just politely say, I'll do the best I can but I will be finishing at x time. Also send a message on what’s app or by text message. This will be your proof. Start the message… As we discussed this morning and further to the conversation we have just had I will be bringing back a significant amount of mail due to the duty length. As advised I will complete all tracked items, special deliveries, customer collections and box collections. If I have misunderstood any of this please advice asap. Thanks

Don’t worry about it or keep yourself awake, you have a start & finish time

Re: our revision starts tomorrow
Ironically having a start and finish time is probably our saving grace. My duty is already to time and I’ve heard they want add an extra hour to it. They can do what they want and if I have any problems my manager can come out and test it with me.

Re: our revision starts tomorrow
Our revision starts in 2 weeks. We still haven’t seen the new duties or started the full office re-pick. 11 duties removed out of 50.
