Treated like a dog $%&€
Hi
I worked for RM Meridian Leicester.
Delivered parcels from late July until Mid January, all seemed good until the work started drying up.
A few other colleagues I noticed just didn't come in any more and I heard down the grape vine ppl where being laid off which was understandable as we were there to help with the Christmas rush.
Anyway here goes.....
Around 3 weeks ago, my manager called me into the office for no apparent reason.
When I arrived I was met with 3 mangers staring at me like I messed up. There was 2 large parcels on the desk!
What do you know about these,? They were left in a van on Saturday.
"I don't work on Saturdays and never have, plus the numbering on the parcel wasn't my hand writing plus I use a marker not a pen.
These managers didn't care and said well they were scanned under YOUR NAME and Login details.
Well I don't know as I don't work Saturdays like I just said.
So they all just looked at each other and after about 20 minutes they dismissed me from the office.
As I left the office MY manager followed me and said btw don't come in tomorrow which was a Thursday, Friday or Sunday.
Ok.......
So Monday comes around and I message my manager do you need me in today?
NO and we don't need you anymore......
That's it in a nutshell, they treat you well whilst your working your arse off then make up bs to just get rid of you.
A simple there isn't enough work here now would have suffixed.

Without going into too much detail, boss told him to do something and when the s**t hit the fan denied all knowledge, the moral of the story never trust a boss and always have a witness and never go into an office with one unless you take a representative.TopperGas wrote: ↑27 Feb 2023, 20:22What were they sacked for?guardianangel wrote: ↑27 Feb 2023, 07:36Happens all the time in my office ,been stitching people up ever since it was privatised,we had 1 last week been there 10 years and reported a boss for bullying a few months back and what a surprise stitched up and sacked this week.

So what this sounds like to me, is that someone used your PDA when it was still logged on as you. This has happened to me before when I was a reserve. Why didn’t the managers realise this is what had happened? Oh yes, because the technology is always right. Not.Jay78 wrote: ↑12 Feb 2023, 18:08Hi

Really sorry you were treated like this :(
