Told off by manager for talking !

Things are getting really bad at our office. Even the slightest hint of chatting away from the frame is being stopped and sarcastically commented on by our manager. We’re adults and very occasionally talk away from the frame.

Just another piece of their computer's way of working, everything timed, no human element coz thats ALL they have to back up their revisions. Expect a chip up our backsides before long. We had it when a manager passed a serial talker, and had a go for someone chatting for a few seconds

Got the same two weeks ago about talking in workplace from our DOM, he came to ask me a favour last week and told him 'sorry cant talk as I'm not allowed to talk at work'! Needless to say hes now threw the toys out of the pram.

If true, there's going to be a hell of lot of 'out'.

You'd be talking about a nationwide cull of shopfloor managers who, even with the best will in the world, cannot fit a quart into a pint pot, cannot bullshit it in, cannot threaten it in, cannot wish it in, cannot manipulate the maths and fake the data it in.
