Maybe with running two ballots with multiple issues involved and multiple historical agreements under dispute is making things overly complicated and RM with their deep pockets (whilst simultaneously pleading poverty) and expensive lawyers can always find some area to legally challenge the dispute, maybe this is the CWU's mistake.

Let's hope the next ballot will result in a much simpler tactic with less room to slip up.

It’s because they are so incompetent they couldn’t even get the language right when serving notice, referenced revisions which we were not balloted on. Now the Cwu are crying on Facebook saying the country’s laws are against them. Absolutely shameless they have let us all down again.

It wouldn't surprise me to see office/shift resigns/revisions/realignments pushed through between now and early to mid March in all DOs, MCs and RDCs

What are we actually paying subs for? It's not for Dave Ward to go on Facebook 3 times a week and puff his chest out, it's to actually manage this dispute properly.

Does nobody run the notices by a solicitor first before announcing them? nobody checks the language to make sure it stands up?

Moaning about 'anti-union' legislation while making basic f**k ups like this, Royal Mail barely even has to try at this point.

Dave Ward and these clowns who run the CWU couldn’t run a bath. They never take ownership or responsibility for their incompetence, and always blame someone else. Absolute disgrace, and we are paying their wages through our subs. ‘Win the vote, Win the dispute’, we are already losing as executive action is happening and has been happening since day one whilst all the CWU can offer is put ‘ Im with my union’ in the ticker tape box, FFS!! Once this is over I’m out of the union for good, they’re useless!

Unfortunately the CWU have shown to be amateurish at best. Even when I listen / watch them on the news they dont present our side as well as they should. Most of it sounds like "blah blah blah.... we have a hardworking workforce, we deserve better....blah blah blah". My opinion. They dont present the greedy attitude at the top, how badly it will affect the public, or how posties will become zero hour workers etc. .

This is the one thing that really does bother me about the union. They have had all this time in media, but just harping on the same stuff. The public actually really don't care. Focus on how these changes effects them though and they will start people really caring because they are paying for the service not the postman themselves. Sometimes is better to be ruthless like the seniors do in order to expose just how bad these guys are. Too obsessed with how good they want to make themselves. It's basically human nature to want to see a car wreck and see people quaking in their boots. Hence why it's entertaining seeing ST squirming on TV. Less singing on picket lines, more exposing the worms at the top

Reading the news feeds today seems ucw trying to blame it on the heavily stacked deck against legislation on striking. But how much do we the members pay for the legal team to be so shambolic ?

Looking back at it, it was a mind boggling why they even had two ballots instead of just doing them one in a whole. Seems like even in past disputes the pay has always been linked to changes being done with the job. The CWU themselves set the bar in that regard. It was dumb for them to even giving these guys an inch with every pay deal since. I guess though the CWU felt confident enough to actually get a pay deal without any strings to it. Not so much now I don't think, seems like they've completely abandoned that idea now and just trying to get any deal in that's better than this one.

That is not the feedback I am getting. Members been saying what’s the point, we’ve lost a small fortune in wages and Union hierarchy keep getting turned over on schoolboy errors. Majority seem dis-allusioned on our ship floor.
