The reality is, this is a difficult job and it only suits people with a very specific skillset. The physicality alone sees to that.

So you're confusing "skilled" with "needing certain skills".

Ive not voted yet, leaving it last min, was a bit dissapointed in cwu during last round of strikes, considering how much money us members have lost to these strikes how many saturdays did we strike? what did we have 18 to 20 days of strikes, i can only think of 1 or 2 saturdays max we striked, you would think if cwu valued and listened to their members they would put in more saturdays as strike days give the guys a weekend off to spend to go see a football match or whatever, was a lot of wednesday, thursday, fridays, go on union give us some saturdays off least u can do

What is the point of striking on a day that is traditionally lighter than the others? On a Saturday there are no collection duties so striking on a Thursday or Friday is more disruptive.

Well the same argument. Why strike in February instead of December? Should have stayed out a whole week or two at Christmas to be really disruptive

There is no choice.
I understand that some people find it hard to lose a days wage when you are on feck all hours, but that's the point, it's where they want you .
We have to vote YES . Hard as it is we have to stand up.

A resounding yes from me. We have no choice, RM have made this an existential threat to the Union which is our only protection against exploitation.
I find it astonishing that anyone would think that now is the time to give up. Personally I would like to have seen us all out for weeks at a time, but the union has to keep those that waiver on board, in the spirit of unity. Those that moan that they cannot afford more strikes, should remember that no hard fought battle was won without pain. Get over it or get out!

It's a yes from me watching my colleagues losing there dutys all senior men 25 plus years service they become reserves with no rotating days off isn't right .Managers allocating dutys on favouritism to less senior staff over looking people with more seniority.Vote yes

If you want a job with good pay and conditions its a no brainer it has to be a YES,if you want an EVRI job you might as well leave now and go work for them they always have vacancies and you wont have to lose money on strikes you'll just get treated like dirt everyday.
