how about a topic on royal mail customers as in firms my wife has worked for two medium size firms over the last ten years both used dx and the service is terrible this week they failed to deliver twice and this is real mail not junk mail (legal area) i asked her to find out why we are not used and it seems it costs a fortune to set up with dx but rm has never made a effort to get this work not one call
the place is 2 miles from our do and collects from our front office to distrbute to their other offices does anyone know of the efforts rm is making to win back work if any any other similar stories does rm even want the work before we go private

I'm presuming you mean another 'forum' for business customers at the mo the 'Customers' forum will cover that.
There is something in the pipeline that if it gets pulled off :pray would involve more forums so that may get covered later on.

Also what about 'Watch and Win' surely you could use that, get some business and a payment for you as well.

As for RM trying to grab business who the hell knows what they try to do.

I'll put this in Blue Shirts, get other peeps thoughts.

told my gaffer the same story a while back, hundreds of things failed to happen at once, and to my great lack of suprise the same story continues never even asked the name of the firm
i think deep down he feels the same as i do that we are been run into the ground on purpose

Strangely,in the Courier, our sales operation will bring in £4.8 Billion of business this year.
Chances are that's normal money, our normal stuff we usually get,so no big shakes.
The test is how good they are at getting the contracts back that we lost, when we can start competing properly.

As for telling your Dom,i thought there was a hotline number or summin.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

rm only seems interested in the big companies and not the small fry, people like dx only exist because we are seen as little more than a marketing tool and cant be trusted with imprtant mail if we were to really try we could put these people out of work in weeks our services are cheaper and better but theirs get there earlier when they bother to deliver
whats the difference between 1 firm spending a million and 20 spending 50 grand a year to me nothing to rm i dont know we have no god given right to this work we need to go and get it
the marketing quote came from 1 of my customers on my delivery by the way
it seems to me its a matter of image and we are the junk mail bods whilst tnt etc do the vital work
