I offered the CWU two things that they rejected - a profit share scheme where posties would get a share before the shareholders - and resource and £money to campaign for better standards in the industry - in my view two really good initiatives - but they are not interested - and I don’t understand why - any ideas…..?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The union rejected a share of profit scam, oh sorry scheme, because they said it would be unachievable.

Not sure what the criteria would be for it to succeed. But it would probably mean that an office would have to be clear every day but also sacrificing losing shifts and amalgamating those shifts making every other shift a 5 hour plus walk.

I think it's bad enough walking 4 or even 4:30hrs. But for the business to think we can walk even more is beyond a joke, and the people at the top have lost touch with the workforce.

This guy is either incredibly dumb or a massive troll.

Either way, why do we have an idiot or a troll as our CEO?

-Targets set were unachievable
-Bringing in a profit share scheme would just make people work through breaks, go over their time for free just to get an extra fiver a month.
-Royal Mail don't make profits anymore because we have an idiot, troll, moron as our CEO.

If we didn't get a share of the profits neither would the shareholders.

Unless of course our profit share scheme was worded in a very different way to the ones shareholders will have :wave

I’m not interested in a profit share system but I’ll quite happily take a shareholder value bonus.

We're losing a million a day, there arnt any profits :nana
But apparently Royal Mail can still rehire managers who have already taken EVR on a nine month contract . It's been estimated by some of my colleagues that they can earn around 40k.
