Share of profit scheme?

Post by franco1 »

Can anyone remember reading about this offer from RM?
Any details? Wouldnt it be a good thing on top of pay rise?
Think it should be included in any possible agreement.
Strange how has not been since mentioned. Imagine having a monthly bonus lets say, based on company profits made.

Motivation is all gone for me. I have fully downed tools.

If there was a share of profit scheme then people will work like slaves more than they do now.

Full Timers working through their breaks..... doing 1 hour and 40 minutes free work a week......they are idiots, especially when the company is shafting them in the back right now.

Wasn't it something like, having to hit unrealistic targets in return for a max of £500 per year?

You are not wrong. We have people starting 1 hour early and having no break. The revision goes live in a couple of weeks with people getting 2 hours extra work when they can’t complete now. I know some will probably be in at 3am. It’s laughable, what fools . We now have walks with 7 hours of delivery time. It’s never going to work. I’m done, and so are 90% of my colleagues.

They will announce this but have it swing both ways so we take a hit, a pay cut if the company is making a loss.

Im not naive enough to believe RM would want it to work in our favour if they had full control over it but if CWU were involved perhaps it could be a good thing. Obviously only as a bonus and not tied into any strings. For me it would be a way forward not just for us but for every industry. Workers need to feel they are more a part of their company and not just wage slaves.

This

Non-starter for me. Essentially you agree to work yourself to the point of exhaustion so you can get an extra £10 if the shareholders get an extra £100000000.

I think there was something in the past if you cut the office budget, the savings would be split between RM & the office. Sounds good in theory but the reality is most offices are failing without early & late o/t

Small print. Maybe we would have to pay them out our wages in yrs we make a loss LOL. Swings and roundabouts.

Same here along with all my postal paraphernalia Consignia badge, penny black anniversary certificate WITH stamp as other simply tore theirs out and used it and various stuff, it would be worth something to a collector in the future.
