You are correct he did say that. Now if I look at anything from HR I am classed as full time. I'm on 30 hrs. However when it comes to bonus payments I am classed as part time.

Thompson's performance at the Select Committe displayed the same attitude that he did during the TV interviews with his white board. He shows total contempt for the workforce and thinks he can do the same to everyone else.

He was clearly trying to sneakily imply full time when the actual stats he is referring to is for permanent staff.

I wish his assertion of full time/permanent staff being 97% or whatever, had been dissected because just looking at one division, not one female member of staff is on 37 hours. If I was to do a quick male/female count across my office, I know that only a tiny minority of women will be 37 hours. That’s pretty disgraceful.

You could argue that it’s just done in order of seniority but for the fact that I inadvertently opened a can of worms when I discovered a male had been made up ahead of me. It transpired he’d been made up ahead of five women.
