does anybody know how long the CWU are giving our leader thompson to reinstate the IR framework for revisions ? ,which he had signed before this last lot of talks and ripped up yesterday , before they serve notice for more IA with our live ballot.

What days to the current ballots expire on or have they both expired?

The CWU won't serve notice on any strikes before the re-ballot process is complete, otherwise RM would probably take them to court and get the new ballot thrown out

im not sure of the date but the change ballot is still live .

Since we are having a re-ballot that closes/results due 16/17 Feb, assuming that it's a 'Yes' then 2 weeks notice is required, so around 2nd March is the earliest that any IA takes place.

That’s not actually correct. The postal executive are meeting this week and have already told RM that if they don’t restore the IR framework for these revisions strike action will be called under the current ballot which is valid until 17/2. It was all in the union update the other night.

I wouldn't put it past RM to try and get the new ballot thrown out on the basis of a strike delaying the return of ballot papers.

I wouldn't put it past RM to try and get the new ballot thrown out on the basis of a strike delaying the return of ballot papers.

Every other unions ballot has been fine whilst this dispute is ongoing (I know one of the teachers union didn’t hit the 50% then blamed it on postal strikes).
