Off sick with COVID, pay being stopped

If you think launching a grievance with a view to a tribunal is "getting our tummies tickled" I'd be interested in what you think would be a better process and punishment if the grievance/tribunal is upheld.

That I 100% agree with. However, only Royal Mail can do that, neither a tribunal nor a grievance has that ability. In fact, I don't know of any way that a business can be forced to dismiss someone if they don't actually want to.

Hi,

I'm currently off sick with COVID and feel pretty poorly. I have forwarded NHS email to my manager that says to isolate for 5 days along with a sick note from doctors saying I'm not fit for work.
I've been off 3 days up until now and manager has told me my pay will definitely be deducted. Is this lawful? Any advice would be great thanks

No ,it's not lawful .You have followed procedure and even got a sick note. Your scumbag of a manager is bullshitting you into going back to work.

The main thing is to recover from your illness and don't rush back, your GP will certainly be more sympathetic, believe me.

Once fit enough follow the advice on putting a grevience in.You will definitely get paid.
