Thompsons outside advisors

Post by scoobydo79 »

Why his reluctance to name them guys? He will still have to write and tell The Select Committee. We may not like who they are but most likely can’t do anything about it.Thompson must have been aware at this point that patience was running out yet he still chose not to tell them. :hmmmm

These guys work on the basis that they keep a low profile.
I don't know who they're using but one of the biggest American players in the field who have been know to work in the UK are called The Burke Group.

Feedback we’ve received from supervisors regarding the risks involved upon unionisation are as follows

Loss of flexibility to make changes quickly in an increasingly competitive world.
Inability to recruit the best talent due to refusal to work in a union environment.
The relationship change between the supervision and employees.
Communication by union officers and stewards becomes controlled and subject to misunderstanding and misinterpretation.
Work stoppages introduce interruption of production and services.
Poorest performers are protected because of the grievance system, shop stewards and seniority promotion
After unionisation, a significant number of the best workers are either forced or choose to leave.
Unions are typically resistant to operational changes.

Best workers? I'm guessing they mean senior management will leave as they dont like dealing with unions?

They mean management they are hoping to recruit wont want to come in the first place because of dealing with unions
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Yeah and in layman's terms it all about complete oppression of the workers, the foot soliders on the front line.

Yeah we don't give a fcuk about you, your pay, your terms & conditions etc.

Yeah we only want what only works for 'us controllers' 'the elite'.
When we say 'dance & jump at the click of our fingers', we want nothing to stand in the way that resembles an obstacle in any shape form or fashion.

Yeah lets all revert back to the early Victorian era, of workhouses & sending children back up chimneys etc.

Yeah well fcuk you!

We had them at our spdo , the guy said because he wasn't advising removal of hours royal mail would most likely ignore his report.
