I have to echo that aswell, had a telephone appointment with them last week, told them the situation, they relayed all the info my the lino who was ok with what they said.

May I ask if either of you were under the care of a gp or consultant when you dealt with them? The last time I spoke to Occupational health was 20 years ago,I'm guessing it wasn't the same Occupational health company back then,and they wouldn't entertain me once they knew I was under the care of a specialist

I have and they were bloody appalling. I had a risk assessment about 5 years ago and it was established that I was indeed covered under the Equality Act and reasonable adjustments were made to my working conditions but that was the previous occupational health provider whose name I’ve forgotten. My then manager who absolutely hated me referred me to Optima Health and in their report it was sneaked in the text that I was not covered by the Equality Act, I went ballistic and threatened to go to the Employment Tribunal and within two days a new report was sent to me which stated that I was covered under the Equality Act. They will state in their report whatever the referring manager wants, be very careful mate.

I will! I'm currently under the care of my gp and a nurse so whatever comes of the OH phone call it's the gp's and nurse's advice I'll be following

There on their third name now, as they are that s**t.
Was Atos or atossers as I called them.
Then went to OH Assist because of all the bad publicity with DWP claimants,
And now are are using the Optima Health name but there all the same company.

I found them to be fine. They just listen to what I had to say and let me be. Mine wasn't a marginal or questionable condition though.
