we are very close now - to all offices being clear and back on top - a big thank you to the frontline teams and the managers that have worked so hard together - to get us back to where we all want to be.
Showing the competiton how the job should be done.
What competition????????

Last year-is different to this year
Darren Jones, chair of the select committee: “I’d remind you, Mr Thompson, that misleading parliament is not something that we appreciate here on the committee.”

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Darren Jones comment roughly translated:
"You might treat your employees like a bunch of c¥#ts Mr Thompson but you do not come in here and do the same with us"

I think the most telling thing from the select committee was his arrogance that blinded him to reading the room.

Here you have a bunch of politicians who by their very nature live amongst the kind of people who dodge questions and evade honest answers for a living and he really believed he was so good at his craft that they wouldn't see straight through him from his first answer.

I've said from day one he's a malignant narcissist even when the union were heralding him as a breath of fresh air after Rico and I've seen nothing that changes my mind.

back dated pay is unaffordable - the money that would be required for this - has been spent on industrial action costs…

my take is this clown is being paid from outside somewhere.
nobody at the top in a company can be this poor at running the place
or even have a track record so poor as to stay in a job like this

in a normal world he would surely have to walk after what happened with the government
or at least whatever board we have at the top would be considering his position,

so my take is somebody is paying him so he gets all the criticism he grinds the place down so possibly somebody can take over
with a broken work force and not have to do the changes....meanwhile this berk heads for the hills with his wheel barrow full of money

Team - just visited Pulborough DO - very close to being back on top - great to see…
OPG
33 days or so after the last IA and they are almost back on top? that must be one busy, massive office to incur a month long backlog clearance

:hmmmm

Frontline Management Team - look out for a call early next week - time for a catch up - keep going - & thank you for everything you are doing - for our customers and our team…
As I referenced this week - it is amazing to see the ‘treating people fairly’ trust score has again moved forward - not an easy thing to do at any time - particularly in a company of our scale…
