Re: New Ballot
What a silly arguement ''think you could do a better job then put yourself forward'. You are allowed to criticize the union that people pay subs for if they are being inadequate. If you couldnt judge something unless you can do it better then no one would be able to criticize anything , i.e athletes , politicians etcparforthewalk wrote: ↑15 Jan 2023, 12:39Maybe all the union naysayers on here, should put themselves forward for election to replace the current PEC?![]()

Re: New Ballot
Because some people maybe concerned about the amount of money they are losing, not being able to support their families properly, and also seeing that this dispute doesn't seem to have any chance of being solved, in the near future, like the rail dispute. At the end of the day, whether you like it or not, it is their choice.
That said, Thompson did get a roasting I hear, from the Parliamentary committee, and he would get a resounding no confidence vote in the ballot, if that was still going ahead.
It needs to also be said, certain offices, are being shafted by inept management, whether line or higher managers, and it is a constant issue and grievance for many. Some get better treatment that give a lot of mouth to managers, whilst others get worse treatment, it seems.
There are still many issues of concern and grievance, and there needs to be high level culling of inept managers, who wouldn't get a job anywhere else and can't cope with any sort of pressure.

Re: New Ballot
Don’t sell yourselves short by voting no. VOTE YES. A lot of negative posts on this forum by posters who haven’t been on here that long.
