When we had the 1st ballot it was a 98%+ for strike action. That result never done anything to solve the dispute 18 days of strike action. What is this new ballot going to do for us, RM are just firing ahead with there own agenda any how, whatever the result maybe.

Maybe all the union naysayers on here, should put themselves forward for election to replace the current PEC?

Don’t understand why any of us would just give up and let RM have it all its own way, by not bothering to vote or voting NO in the next ballot.

Rolling over and giving up is not in my nature, so I’ll be voting YES.

A vote No is a vote for zero hours contracts on minimum wage with zero benefits.

A vote No is a vote for commit to deliver.

I'm voting no, lost money for absolutely no reason so far, not one good thing has come of it, completely wasted, it's just a job, if I don't like the new royal mail setup I'll just get another unskilled job

Zero hour contract etc - pleeaase!

I thought RM has actually offered us a deal and there are some assurances for a few years from what thin the contract. They are even conceding to paying people allowances for roles that no longer exist and a sickness policy that is still far better than most in a Privately sed industry...

The ballot will be a waste of time for the CWU and even more waste of resources... Union are looking to cut a deal just as badly as RM - the fight is over!

You won’t like the new RM set up if you vote no.You’d better start looking for that new job. We can’t roll over, die and be danced on by RM we’ve come this far. The top brass are starting to crack. Stick it out, stick together, and vote YES

This dispute has been by far the worst I have been involved with.
I thought the DRAS dispute of 1988 was bitter.

Whatever happens from now on it’s going to take a very long time, if ever to recover trust between the Membership/CWU and Management and non striker’s.
