Annualised hours

If Annualised hours comes in will that mean finishing an hour later in the winter,guys in our work think they will still finish in time for the school run will these annualised hours scupper this.

from next week every duty in our office is getting "22 minutes" added to their duty, absorbed from other duties.

Its not like were still delivering xmas cards or anything

So they have added customer collections, added taking photos of all tracked parcels on door step and now adding around 17 mins of other rounds....

Something like that is not going to work in our office......more delayed mail. Once a deal is made Royal Mail have no rocks to hide under from Ofcom. Fines galore will come.

Can Ofcom invite themselves to any office at any time to check up on Royal Mail's performance? I'll happily give them the heads up to come to our office if we remain ridiculously understaffed.

Same at our office, absolutely horrendous !
They can come ours as well totally understaffed ( approximately 14 last count ) yet still over 20 F/T going and 14 delivery duties going, that with the 9 parcel duties that have ceased today. Monday going to be fun !!

Dave Ward will quite happily collect his 100k+ salary, no matter what s*-t he shovels our way, if we all stop paying our union dues for 2 or 3 months, he might actuallylisten to what we want.

In fact every RM CWU member should give then a list of 5 things we want in the deal!

Mine would be:-

1. No later starts.
2 No annualised hours.
3. A decent pay deal backdated.
4. Overtime at a decent rate more than normal pay.
5. Sundays optional.

Aren't you working 37 hour weeks already?

Just looking at previous wage slips and the deductions from previous strike days can anyone please explain why the hourly rate we are being deducted is ranging between £13.66 to £13.84 when we are on £12.62 per HR for working 37hrs for example if 14.50 hrs is deducted should it be £182.99 not the £198.14 which was deducted from the last strike dates
