If a rep puts a disagreement in tomorrow morning will all executive revision activities cease?
Am I reading that correctly?
Technically you would imagine so but can you really see managers unpicking a revision they've been planning for 3 months and going back to the beginning?
I've heard rumours they are shelving the parcel route strategy in the 350+ offices because they want to concentrate on savings/productivity driven revisions.
The big blockages will obviously be around start times, the removal of innovative duty patterns and the overall projected volume decline that will drive the WIPWH down.

I'm slightly worried by it.
RM know they need the CWU for revisions and are looking for a leg up.
CWU and RM engage for revisions and Union are bombed back out again after.
A disagreement via the IR framework isn't going to stop them for implementing anything.
The settlement of the Czechoslovakian problem, which has now been achieved is, in my view, only the prelude to a larger settlement in which all Europe may find peace. This morning I had another talk with the German Chancellor, mr Hitler, and here is the paper which bears his name upon it as well as mine [shows paper to crowd]. Some of you, perhaps, have already heard what it contains but I would just like to read it to you: " ... We regard the agreement signed last night and the Anglo-German Naval Agreement as symbolic of the desire of our two peoples never to go to war with one another again".
So they have been talking and have agreed to now have intensive talks.
Why can’t they have done this from the off?
What have they been doing? Casual conversations? Light hearted banter?
I’d like to know what the difference is between normal take and intensive talks. Do they raise their voices more?
not one mention of them not paying sick pay. No agreement can be in place whilst this is the case. Why are the union so quiet on the sick pay situation.

You could be right. I work in one of the lucky 350 hubs, we’re 15 duties understaffed and due to lose 11 duties in our revision due in Feb, so there is no chance of them putting in the resources needed for their parcel route strategy. The savings are purely cost based and will never work, which is exactly what they want

Is it finally coming to light what was Royal Mail's end goal all along
Bigger rounds??
They announced 10,000 FTE compulsory redundancies then recruited over 11,000 agency staff
They were always going to rid of most of these agency staff after Xmas anyway as its our busiest time
They kept banging on about later starts and finishes but never really explained why or that it made any sense for us to do so other than its what the competition does
After all these strikes what exactly have we gained? Most of us have lost over a £1k due to IA and all they want to give us in return is.........more f**king work to do and only a 7% pay rise in return

On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
Is is quite obvious that the CWU bog shots took an extended xmas holiday.
They may well have left some low level negotiators thrashing out the framework for the ACAS talks but you just know they took this week off as xmas holiday.
End of bullet point 3 of Simons latest letter to the CWU regarding revisions
" If agreements on the guidlines cannot be reached then this cannot prevent the revisions programmes proceeding."
I’ll reword it if I may. We will have a little chat with you over tea and biscuits and at the end of it you don’t agree then we will just do it anyway. Shows how desperate and weak the union now is agreeing to talks on the back of that.
