And opgs used to get a 10 min tea break before commencing delivery
Was never officially done away with but with sdd agreement everyone was so bothered about finishing early they just didn’t take it
Think I will reintroduce this see what mgmt say
When I ask for documentation on the matter 🤔
How many used to make use of that 10 min tea break and how many saw it as 10 mins earlier that they could get out to finish a little earlier?

I have a fit note, due to go back in on Tuesday. Had a phone call today telling me to come in tomorrow for a couple of hours as Royal Mail won't pay me, I will only get statutory pay. Told them that they were just making their own rules up now. Was told that I was fit enough to do a couple of hours even though note says not fit to work.

That’s harassment.

Unless, it was a doctor who told you were fit for work, ignore their bullying and harrasement, and only go back when your doctor says you can.

I know, but honestly I'm done with it. No more favours, no more going that extra mile. Royal Mail have shown us what they think of us so I will do the same

The goodwill they have squandered for a big fat nothing. Royal Mail is its workforce. We really are led by donkeys.

I was off sick for 3 days - manager called me twice the first day and then each of the others to find out why I was off, despite me calling him first thing on the first day to inform him. I ended up having to give him personal medical information just to get him to stop bothering me. It’s harassment and they know it.

Take care of yourself and don’t go back too soon.

More fool you for giving him personal medical information.

Aidan - just block me please. Then you won’t be tempted to make snide comments.

Its not a snide comment just asking why you would give personal medical information to a manager.

To be honest, I read it as a snide comment. You didn't ask why he gave his details, you criticised him for it.

Yea, I read it as 100% snide too. I'm mean it's practically calling barnacle a fool. There was no asking anything, just plain old judgement, there. However, it's the best comeback I've read, barnacle.

Whoa, you really need to chill, have I said anything about not liking your posts? You were called out when you denied that you were having a dig and instead claimed you were asking a question. You clearly weren't, and you've clearly just admitted you weren't. I've never blocked anyone, n ain't gonna start now, thanks for the offer tho... I guess.
