,......does Ofcom care?
Does Ofcom care about what your managers are telling you in private?
Probably not.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Ryde drivers now clearing the oversized on certain walks. People being told to leave stuff, despite actually objecting saying they'll have time to clear but management have been told they must find work for these drivers. Our revision will go in at some point this year, and only the singletons have been told they'll keep their oversized. The official line is no jobs will be going as those made redundant by their walks going will be going on the packets, but I wonder if the plan is to give all the oversized to the Ryde drivers which is actually what Royal Mail want.

Same happening here. Agency staff taking all the packets. Some folk were moaning about lack of overtime……

“Over the past couple of months AGENCY staff have been taking the big parcels and are still continuing with this exercise.

Is this the start of owner driver taking large parcels and being paid a minimal amount to clear it. Meanwhile we get the short straw by walking longer.”

You’ve actually just answered your own question here without even realising it:
PARCELFORCE not sustainable in current form,
But handy for the LARGE parcels,
Cap on O D’s been lifted,
sure I read somewhere 100% O D’s allowed know,
payback for the strikes apparently,
which is why such big amount is in war chest

So way I look at it is:
GLS will be sold
PARCELFORCE will be all owner drivers taking the large parcels
Royal Mail & PFW workers will become one, which your already are anyway,
Too many people to just get rid of, too many with contracts to ignore
However becoming one NEW company, but still Royal Mail too big of a brand to re-name,
paves the way for ALL YOUR NEW CONTRACTS
job done, millions saved
Know on with making the company’s look like dog shite first, run everything down to the ground make it look bad as poss
That’s why everything’s failing, being left, being returned, need paper proof first, then in with the sledge hammer and WHACK !!!

Interesting first post I see.

What if the majority of staff don’t sign these new contracts what then?
