under no circumstances leave in a safe place or neighbour
Anyone else been getting these messages on their PDA.
The people that have ordered parcels are saying to me why aren't you putting them in the shed /safe place anymore and they no nothing about it.
It is obviously the sender but with the callers office closing in January there is going to be lots of parcels returned

Despite Royal (well Simon's) Mail's 'magic on the doorstep' or whatever he said, the senders are probably getting too many *DOR's and are fecked off with the way Royal Mail does it's business.
Plus there are a lot of wankey posties out there.
*Denial of receipt

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Correct, but it was coming up earlier in the year for a lot of tracked (IIRC) - it was a fault in 'the system'.John james wrote: ↑03 Aug 2023, 19:28This message only comes on tracked passports has far has I know

Re: under no circumstances leave in a safe place or neighbour
This service started earlier this year where the sender specifies cant leave safe. If it was coming up on loads of tracks then its a fault. If it was the occasional one then it was probably the sender selecting this optionyellowbelly wrote: ↑04 Aug 2023, 18:13Correct, but it was coming up earlier in the year for a lot of tracked (IIRC) - it was a fault in 'the system'.John james wrote: ↑03 Aug 2023, 19:28This message only comes on tracked passports has far has I know

Yeah that was it, got resolved pretty quickly iirc, I think currently it's just the passports we've started delivering but obv they can be posted so dtn wouldn't really apply unless they started sending them signed for.Clappedoutpostie wrote: ↑04 Aug 2023, 21:40It was a problem with eBay tracked packets if I remember correctly,

Office has run out of the new cards, apparently we’ve gone through 5 boxes since “2 attempts” came in.
