Reducing hours
I am thinking of going down to 30 hours a week from full time as I am now 63 . If I did would it mean I go on the new contract that rm want or would it be simply a change of hours . Have been a postie for 36 years and thought of retirement but feel I have another couple of years left in me depending on the changes.

A mate of mine at our office went down to 30 hours with no problem at all a few years back. Our DOM couldn't believe his luck as he was saving 9 hours a week. Basically my mate just started later. The only form he signed was acknowledging that he couldn't go back to full time hours if ever the chance occurred for 2 years.
