Filthy....but yet you continue to antagonise people on here, presumably for the fun of it. Unless you're masking it and actually you do care? Perhaps you are a lonely, insecure individual who craves any form of interaction? Who knows or cares. But hey ho it takes all kinds. I genuinely hope you get all you need from the stuff you post and the replies you get. We both know, that really, you won't.
You presume a lot.
I try not to name call like others name call. If I get insulted I’ll happily go on the wind up for a bit.
But you’re right. I do care. I care about my job. But I’m not loyal enough to fall on to hardship and struggles. I’ll grab What money I can and if the job becomes too unbearable I’ll get another job.

While not wishing to enquire what was your previous job?

I worked with assisted living. I left that because of cut backs…. I did enjoy that job.
What about you?

Not your target, but I'll reply in case they dont'. Factory / manufacturing work. I slowly, but surely grew to hate a job that basically excluded me from normal life. The pay wasn't even as good as I get now.
Mostyl why I want this job to continue with the same core: Good reputation, fair enough work, fair holiday, and good terms.
Shame they want to drop the lot to evri standards, screw us, screw their customers and the public...

Factory work I can imagine being quite mind numbing? Especially if the hours are unsociable.

Very mind numbing, but the worst part was the complete exclusion from reality. 0600-1800 is just, lifeless. Needing days off to deal with anything al all, no chance to ever deal with childcare or anything akin to it (elderly family, sick partners) etc. I wouldn't go so far to say it was a *bad job*. because inherently it wasn't, but the shifts were really exclusionary to living a life.

Yeah I used to speak to a guy who did the early morning shift at UPS. Basically 1am - 7am. It just knocked him out of sync for ages.
If he had child care issues he either had to ask his parents or get no sleep…

This whole strike is fighting for your T&C this was never about the money was it they RM have 1.7 billion pounds to defeat us all.
We need a deal that stops or reduces this change of hours. we can only do that if someone turns up but alas he continues to runaway from the challenges that we all face today.

How is manufacturing/factory work different from RM when it comes to hours? Both are shift working
