Terry Pullinger

Post by Cybitech »

Just wondering what's happened to Terry Pullinger, he seems to have vanished into thin air over the past few months and left everything to Dave Ward ??

Anyone shed any light on his whereabouts ?

He is sick.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Lack of social media posts on his facebook page showing support for the stike is a bit concerning since the strikes/of sick. i think theres more to it than being sick. time will tell.

I heard that his disappearance is due to him null and voiding our original agreement on terms and conditions.
Apparently there was a clause that started if the CWU ballot for strike action then the agreement made and signed for in 2018 or 2019 would become voided.
Simon goaded him with a list of proposals, Terry said you can not do that and Simon said what are you going to do about it, to which Terry said I will ballot for strike action.
Simon knowing full well about the clause goaded him further saying “go on then”
Which as you know he did! And by doing so threw away all our terms and conditions which had been agreed in 2018/19
That is why he has disappeared!
That is why we won’t win this war on conditions!
That is what the CWU isn’t telling you!
That is why we are all £’s out of pocket with no chance of getting any of it back!
That is why Simon was brought in! He is a very clever man who played Terry like a mandolin.

If only Terry had read and remembered what he had agreed back then, remembered the clause, and thought about why Simon was not concerned about a ballot, instead he thought he had all the power.
Men and their ego’s!
Ergo he has disappeared and the CWU are covering up his blunder with sickness claims and continuing to strike.
the only outcome is we are more and more out of pocket while supporting a union that is lying to us!
How much £ is too much?
The terms and conditions we had are gone and Simon has no intention of bringing them back, we are fighting a battle that was already lost before the first strike day was even taken.
Simon tried to tell us that the union is lying to us and we refused to listen to him because of who he is.
We need to question the union more after all they are still getting paid by us and who in their right mind pays someone to lie to them????
I for one am not a mushroom, no more being kept in the dark and fed sh**
I believe it is more likely than not, that Terry messed up and was disposed of.
I believe Simon played him and the terms and conditions that we had are long gone and will not be brought back to the table, after all it’s why Simon goaded Terry in the first place!
I for one have had the lowest wages in the last year 3 weeks wages to last 5 weeks and during Christmas, thanks CWU for striking 7 days in the run up to the Christmas payment, have a drink for me this festive season as I can’t afford one. :thumbdown
The CWU is over and it’s down to them or rather Terry Pullinger!
Don’t let them cost you even more £ than they already have,as they try to save face

And where’s your evidence of this? Bizarre first post and comes across as a self serving moan looking for someone to blame for the current situation. Your sights are clearly on the wrong person.

Well there is.

If the CWU balloted or an unofficial strike as in industrial action Royal Mail could serve notice on the CWU to terminate those prescribed legal undertakings.

if there is national-scale industrial action (in the form of a strike or action short of a strike) which has been authorised at national level by the CWU, namely industrial action which either (i) involves employees in the majority of operational workplaces across Royal Mail Group Limited; or (ii) involves
employees in an integral part of the operation whereby taking action will have, or is reasonably likely to have, a similarly disruptive effect
