You must have a medical condition or mental condition and you should go to your own GP this is the first point of call you need to insist this as it is very important. Then you get a fit note ? telling you are fit for nothing? then RM come back and say we have light duties? HA HA Nice one RM. But you can talk to them and refute their accusations and go and get a specialist consultant involved by you GP. This is then processed and can give the DOM a copy of said report it is up to them if they release you on IHR!

Wtf are you on never was an never will be up to your dom..all has to go through ohs an your own doc.

Dom needs to refer you and than it takes them to sign off so OHS pays you do they?

No they don't but neither does your dom royal mail pay you.

Contact the pensions team. Rules vary on each scheme but it’s pensions trustees that are final decision makers based on OHS advice

With regards to getting early access to pension via IHR, it depends on if OHS deems the individual to be unable to do any form of work for any employer due to ill health.
