The government dont care

Post by pieoftheday »

Do the government care about what's happening to RM and its employees? Well a quick glance at the Post Office section on here with regards to the still ongoing Horizon scandal would Indicate definitely not :wave

No they don't care and we shouldn't expect otherwise from Conservatives.

We've not heard a peep from Sir Kier either which is very disappointing
Really, sure it can't can't come as a surprise at this point?

They care to some extent.... they said no to a 5 day service in the past and maybe they will say no again soon to Thompson's 2nd request made in November. If they didn't care at all they would have allowed Thompson to go to a 5 day service by now and therefore ~4,000 more staff would have been got rid of.

This Govt is hell bent on de-unionising the country to their own ends. Royal Mail are doing a large part of that for them, they are delighted and their dogs body Keith Williams is doing a sterling job for them.

In my Initial post I mentioned the post office, the government didn't care about what happened there and continue not to. 20 years that's gone on, nah they couldn't give a shxt

Why would the government care? We are a privately owned company, the regulator are the people that oversea Royal Mail. People seem to think the government can intervene in decisions made by privately owned companies. So long as any company are complying with relevant employment laws, nobody gives a shite.

The government are the only ones who can change the legislation so there's responsibility for the uso to some degree, ofcom actually said they done a survey and most people would go to five day but Simons second request has been denied :hmmmm

Millions of people this year cannot afford to eat or heat their homes. Thousands of kids live in poverty and we have record numbers of people using food banks.
The government don't care about the people of this country one bit and that should be obvious.
