Stamps
Sorry, I know this has been discussed before, but my 50 Christmas stamps have still not arrived. Anyone else still waiting??
The only mail delivered to our house today was one card and a catalogue from Lee Longlands furniture store! Our mail is delivered from a different DO to the one I work at. I assume my stamps and payslips and lots of other letters and cards are just buried under a pile in the middle of the office??

The office that delivers my mail (or not) is always struggling for staff so I’m assuming mine are under a mountain of mail not deemed as important as Tracked to deliver

Re: Stamps
Mine arrived today.
Inside there’s a message from
Simon Thompson saying they are for keeping in touch with family and friends over the festive period.
Plus a note of last posting dates…2nd class 19th Dec, 1st 21st Dec.
Couldn’t make it up!
Bit insulting to be honest.

I hope we’re all using a few to send late Christmas cards to ST. 100,000+ cards sent directly to him just saying something like, ‘We’re a letters company’

I think it would be better for him to receive 100k of cards without stamps on!Barnacle wrote: ↑19 Dec 2022, 19:10Ugh. What a clownBuddyElf wrote: ↑19 Dec 2022, 18:49Mine arrived today.

Re: Stamps
Now that is a good idea. Shops always sell off their Christmas cards in the new year dirt cheap. Boxes of 50/100 for a pound or two. Pop one in the post everyday to the CEO without a stamp. RM are obliged to sort it, inform the customer of a surcharge. Keeps the staff busy, keeps the mail volume up. I will feel sorry for the sod in revenue protection and the person who has to book them all in SPS until he pays from his shares bonus.
