Probably the lorries will get sent out with tarpaulins and the yorks placed in yards with tarpaulins over them

Not enough room in the yards either FFS, but if in doubt just crap on the DO like the company does.
Royal Mail
failing the workforce, failing the public and deliberately failing mail on a daily basis for too many years.

Re: another letter from RM
If the company wanted to resolve this dispute before now they would have been at the negotiating table with the union months back and 'Delivered Christmas' on time as expected.
Instead they kept stalling negotiations, coming back with the same offer etc. whilst behind the scenes attacking the union.
Don't feel sorry for them. They made this mess by playing games. They could have prevented it all!

Re: another letter from RM
Blatant pathetic PR exercise
Write a letter pleading to save Christmas for the sake of the poor customers - who he doesn't give a s**t about or us
Look at me see how caring i am etc etc
He knows full well the strikes will not be called off
A cynical obvious attempt at media PR

Which is why I believe it was all planned to be like this. Once RM sacrificed Black Friday and Christmas the rest of their game plan would be spinning the PR for the public.employee1 wrote: ↑19 Dec 2022, 19:45If the company wanted to resolve this dispute before now they would have been at the negotiating table with the union months back and 'Delivered Christmas' on time as expected.

Either everything they do is orchestrated and planned well in advance or they are just bumbling along making mistake after mistake.

Re: another letter from RM
Why are they pretending they suddenly care about the customers, the past 12 months we’ve had rounds failing every single day me like others are doubling up mail one day on the track parcels for the other around the next day, they suddenly care about the customers! It’s pathetic, lots of people are looking forward to having a proper Christmas break with there family for a change, every year I’ve asked to have one or two days off before Christmas I’ve been told absolutely no chance we’re too busy well what goes around comes around stick your days I’m staying home my family for a change and enjoying Christmas, Royal Mail you only have yourself to blame people are fed up don’t you actually realize that by now?
