Nice to see the GMB do not stab their agency workers in the back the same as the CWU.
Amazon do not directly recruit their staff. They use third party employment agencies.

Royal Mail must commit to prioritising the removal of all agency staff before voluntary redundancies take place and confirm they will not hire new entrants across the business to replace existing workers who decide to take voluntary redundancy.

I think amazon directly employ about a third of their staff, at fulfilment centres. If u read the report on this ballot, I think only a 3rd of the employees were balloted, which tallies with the ratio of directly employed to seasonal agency staff.

Edit - I know 3 people directly employed by Amazon. One drives and the other two work as pickers.
