I’d be happy for the strikes to be called off as long as the CWU get a good legally binding agreement that it feels it can put to its members, so I fully expect the strikes to go ahead.

"The LTB also repeated false assertions by CWU that Royal Mail has plans for “significantly more than 10,000 job losses.” Once again, this is not true and continues to form part of a campaign of lies from CWU leadership to promote fear."

great way to start a meeting !

Dear Dave and Andy

Call off nothing

They have lied to our faces - saying that compulsory redundancies were NEVER a consideration when we all know they were on the table.

They have openly called you liars for stating they were on the table when we all had seen the letter asking for consultation on the criteria and all had seen the message about 'no compulsory redundancies until at least March 23' as a so called improvement.

Call nothing off until we have a full agreement ready to be voted on by membership.

They are simply not to be trusted.

Good point, i wonder how many have taken it as gospel that they are getting the 23rd & Xmas Eve off and have booked up to go away for the xmas holidays ?

Going to be out in the rain now delivering for Stuart.

Oh go f*** yourself Si.

Far too little, far too late.

Decent pay, roll back on all T&C attacks, decent compromise on service issues. LEGALLY BINDING agreement. Anything less and the strikes go ahead.

DO NOT i say DO NOT call off the strikes even as a goodwill for extensive talks ,the bastards have been nasty and stitched us up all the way through,we do not stop strikes until there is an agreement ,if they really want one they would be in the room until one was agreed, call off strikes and half the union will leave and it will be the end of the union as we know it, We have stuck by our union all the way through just dare to stop the strikes and im out, their desperate letter really shows they are on the ropes now lets turn the screw announce some more.

They will owe me all my ingredients cost and compensation for ‘effing up my mental health. As I am planning on making some nice treats for my grandchildren and spending some quality (but none costly) time with them.
