Re: No compulsory redundancies
They have literally put out a communication just last week saying no compulsory redundancies until at least 2023 on the basis that it was an “improvement” to the original offer
How can they claim it is lies?!
They sent Dave Furey a letter asking to consult with them on what the criteria would be for them and suggesting what it would be - sick/skills/conduct/complaints
Ricky McAuley even said it yesterday in his video
No compulsory redundancies means no compulsory redundancies
Not “until X date”
No compulsory redundancies
They are liars.

Re: No compulsory redundancies
Just wondering what the wage bill is for those 9 signatures. Still I sure they are all absolutely essential to the success of the business.

Re: No compulsory redundancies
They seem to be missing the point - we are the CWU. They need to engage with our representatives not send out millions of letters telling us we don't know why we're striking.

Re: No compulsory redundancies
Looks like there's 9 names on that letter that can be made redundant.

Re: No compulsory redundancies
Here's a copy of the letter sent out today. Unbelievable. Seems the union have been lying to us all along....

Re: No compulsory redundancies
No chance of us getting that until well after xmas unless they send them all out SD, but then, we aren't home to sign for them.

Re: No compulsory redundancies
So no compulsory redundancies? So what will happen to the staff involved when the CSPs close in January?
