My manager told me they all had received an email last week accusing managers of taking advantage of the strike days to come into work late and leave early and do very little work calling this unacceptable.as everybody who works at a hub knows the majority of agency workers use the strike days as an open cheque book to fleece royal mail there again the company will already know this they will have all their scanning data.

Don’t you still have to inform your own insurance that you are carrying out paid work with your vehicle?

From what I've heard and read on this board Grant McPherson is a bully boy who is very anti-union .Even some managers are scared of him .. I'm sure he doesn't give a shite about what Unite thinks any more then he does the CWU.

I also imagine that the company insurance covers third parties only. Prang your own car out on a delivery and you will be left to bear the cost if you don't have business use on your own insurance.

Delivering for customers isn't the most important thing otherwise they wouldn't of let staff go 2 hours earlier today in our office and an hour earlier yesterday when loads work to be done but was told aren't allowed to touch it

Not sure if anyone subscribes to Telegraph online?, saw an article on there, claiming Royal Mail have a war chest of 1.7billion, to defeat the union.I couldn’t read the rest of it, I don’t and won’t subscribe to that Tory paper, but it shows RM’s pleas of poverty are a crock of sh*t
