It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

how desperate are they , its not mandatory BUT if you say no then what ? , and arent the company taking the piss out of unite union when they told managers that you DONT do posties work , oh well good luck :thumbup

What a fantastic idea. Let’s all muck in to get Christmas delivered to the people. I think this can be extended into 2023. In the supermarkets the managers muck in with serving, shelf filling etc etc. You often see a sergeant out on the street with a Police officer so why shouldn’t a manager help out and deliver. This will save money as many managers know more than agency workers. I’ve always thought we should all muck in together as a team. :nana :dance :Applause :Applause

Yep, I’m fed up arguing with the COM here about why 5 single slots on a rural I cover takes half an hour, they take ages down farm tracks through icey woodlands where one mistake and you’re in a stream.
