Found this:
RM are using Manpower to assemble a body if staff at GMC to process and deliver parcels.
https://www.manpower.co.uk/job/316986/w ... operative/
The pay rates are ‘interesting’.
Is this the beginning of a major change in the role of GMC, turning it into a Parcel Delivery Hub - with all that entails re staff numbers, pay rates, shifts, etc.?
Or are RM starting to step away from Angard?

That’s standard Christmas casual pay rates. And the text is same as Angard’s sorter ads. So maybe Angard struggling to get people when it’s such an unreliable way of making money?

Could RM be looking to have MCs either being letters and flats only or packets only? Which ones would do the Tracked and SDs? Will all MCs eventually lose all Tracked to the super hubs in the long term?

Re: What is about to happen at Gatwick MC?
From other stuff coming out to me today, it looks like a cock-up.
The postcode is the MC but other stuff indicates that tge roles are intended for the DOs if Crawley, Horsham and Redhill - locations where Angard are not usually employed.
The numbers being sought are remarkable - 29/30 or more going to each unit .
Repeated across the country it’s phenomenal.
And still they won’t pay overtime to RM staff who have been striking.
Perhaps the pictures of MCs backlogs have panicked the Management
