'You can use your own cars'.... what.
We get told 'don't have anything on show in the front of your vans'.....
but they are allowed to have whole deliveries showing in the back of their vehicles?

Sounds like they are trying to plug the Niagara Falls with a wine cork.
How does this even work on health and safety grounds when posties have car accidents, slips, trips.... where's the manager(s) to deal with the fallout?

Only a tiny tiny detail but he says this is a pivotal moment now.Is the pressure finally getting too much for them?

Erm this happens every Christmas. Non-ops managers are either out in DOs, on delivery, in calllers offices or sorting in mail centres.

Well… Simon’s last two posts on Workplace have been about you trains, a week apart from each other.theotherone wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 22:02Only a tiny tiny detail but he says this is a pivotal moment now.Is the pressure finally getting too much for them?
He’s clearly been told to zip it… with Ricky doing the press and comms, so there must be some degree of internal strife within the boardroom.

Their own cars because there is not enough vans, can see a few parking tickets, don't forget to look at the logbooks for all the dogs.

Re: Managers joining us on delivery
I think it’s some of the offices in Sheffield area that get most volunteers because of the HR departments (& fleet?) are based there. Probably not as many now though. But ask any non-ops manager you next week.
