Can anyone explain how we are supposed to maintain 3 points of contact on stairs when:

There's no handrail

We've got a bundle of mail in hand

We're carrying a parcel requiring both hands?

To be fair our managers came round this morning and told us all to leave anything it would be too dangerous to deliver, as long as we left a note explaining why (steep hill/ stairs with no rail) so they didn't then dump it on a casual in the afternoon.

I'm very disappointed I was expecting pictures of Fit young women in leotards hanging off "Silence" 5.15d (9c) :cuppa

I'm not referring to when it's icy or snow on the ground.

I'm talking about any time of the day/month/year.

Report the property(s) with no handrail as being a safety hazard, then you'll covered if you do have a fall?

I guess the answer to the other points is always carry the post and parcels in your pouch whilst you climb the stairs?
