Those minimum worker protections are now extinct since we left the EU allowing the tories to do whatever they like.

"Extinct"? There's been no material changes to worker's right at all.
Corbyn (in his more sensible days) always said the EU was anti-worker/pro-big business in it's concept and he had a point.
