Re: Thompson's letter to the public
The guy that came into the company saying 'we need trust everywhere'....
is writing an 'open letter' to the public spewing lie after lie, fabrication after fabrication.
The guy is a con artist.
Apparently even claiming union reps have done X or Y and suspending them.
Why are we even in talks with him.
We should tell the board we aren't having any further talks until Thompson is out and we have someone new take the role of CEO who has integrity and honesty in mind.

That’s not correct according to Statista.com market share of parcels market In 2021, Royal Mail held the highest share in the courier market in the United Kingdom with a market share of 27 percent. Meanwhile, with a market share of 12 percent each, Amazon Logistics and Hermes are emerging as big players in the UK parcel market.

A good reliable Royal Mail wipes the floor with them all but for some reason the people at the top don’t want that from us and want to be like Evri and Yodel.

Re: Thompson's letter to the public
Exactly. If ST gets his way and turns us into another overworked less than minimum wage half-assed parcel doorstepper, it's the British public that loses out.
RM need to look at sorting out DSA before doing anything else. I can't believe no one high up realises that we are letting other companies strip the profit out of that and having us deliver it for almost nothing when they are so obsessed with profit.

Re: Thompson's letter to the public

great river medical center
Lying, cheating, deception is part and parcel (no pun intended) of this type of personality's every day life. He lies to us, he lies to the public and tries to manipulate the media. At base he is insecure. He messed up with the Covid app losing millions and now he has messed up with the Royal Mail finance, now according to him (?) losing millions. He is a liability for any company or organisation that has him at the helm. From his position, he either wins this dispute or he takes the company down with him if that is what it takes because if he doesn't win who is wanting to employ him in a similar position. The problem is he has so much confidence in his (mis)judgement, inorder to stop him destroying the company, the shareholders have to get rid him.
Who knows? May be he is trying to work himself a nice Rico Back payday (£5.9 millions)? Of course, the hypocrite, will be completely oblivious to the double standard he setting should he accept.¯\_( ͠° ͟ʖ °͠ )_/¯

You're correct. I meant its 3 times its next competitor and the nearly the same as the next three competitors combined. Thanks for pointing it out.Andyh335 wrote: ↑09 Dec 2022, 01:41That’s not correct according to Statista.com market share of parcels market In 2021, Royal Mail held the highest share in the courier market in the United Kingdom with a market share of 27 percent. Re: Thompson's letter to the public
shareholder meeting was cancelled because some of the major shareholders could not make it, so it has been rescheduled. as Andy Fury pointed out it was only 2 days of talks as the last day was only 1 hr long. but yes, we are no further forward.aiden01 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2022, 23:17Who is we should tell the board.. ffs cwu cancelled a meeting with shareholders on tues to meet with st 3 days later no further on depresssing.norris9 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2022, 23:08The guy that came into the company saying 'we need trust everywhere'....
