so based on this chat....

3 people say it's shelved - not sure what that means - maybe it just means that those depots are too understaffed as it is.

1 says that at his depot it's not being done on seniority - although I am not clear what he was trying to say exactly.

4 people say it's being done on seniority.

Are you surprised that different offices have different rules? It's always the case it seems with royal mail. I was told couple of weeks back, they will decide on who gets displaced in the revision. If they want to go, then they will. Or be offered something else in maybe another location 'nearby'.

Sadly a reflection of the workforce, over 50% of our office went for it ( 10 out of 118 got it ) … people want out, and that golden ticket ( 2 years pay ) isn’t going to happen.
The job now is unbearable and the workplace is toxic.

Strange that some are saying it's been pulled as our manager said he has to have his list sent in by today.

I'm guessing been pulled in certain offices but not all then? We were told there's quite a few spaces but we had double the amount applying than what was needed for VR.

We were told this morning on the picket that our office wasn't getting any. A few people who applied weren't amused!!!
