I’m just thinking. It’s that time of year when your local friendly MP likes to stick His head in the door and see all the posties working. Can’t We do this and show them what a sh1t show it is this year?

His or her head.
Thnx.
His or Her or Their or It’s head.
Thnx.
Lol. That's unfair to Them and she/him!
No, just that MPs, like posties, are lads and lasses. Not just lads. Is all.
Swinging from one half to the other, rotating daily to mop up the two day's mail. Although today being a short day we didn't even get the whole half done. Having to stop and prioritize the apparently non prioritized according to RM tracked packets.
Doing about half the round practically everyday
Nobody cares anymore neither do the managers!!!!
Your doing well we haven’t mange any of our round for nearly a week parcels only i can no longer get letters in my frame boxes of letter’s starting to stack up

The people that always come in early, skip breaks and like to clear and go home early....those people must be having nightmares every night. Probably have OCD and cannot cope with seeing the mail piling up in boxes around their frame. Have to come in early cos they can't sleep due to having bad dreams about getting snowed under with letters.
Those people will eventually help Thompson win this fight.
I bet more than a few of them have a decade or more working for this shitshow ahead of them, too.
Have children/grandchildren whose future will be working for c#%ts like Royal Mail.
And who are completely oblivious to the role they are playing in not only f***ing up their own future, but also their children's/grandchildren's future.
Frustrating, doesn't even begin to describe this awful situation.

I've said it before but I really don't see the point of foregoing a day's pay to strike and then come in rest of week working all hrs to clear it! It just doesn't make any sense. Someone who comes in on strike days and works to time the rest of the time would probably disrupt RM more as its costing RM money to pay them and they aren't doing a full day's work on strike days for it either. Madness.
Unfortunately we’re are own worse enemies and 95% of us do it wether it’s come in early to not wearing seatbelts on rurals I’d say nearer 99% of us don’t do the job properly everyday it’s just not possible if we did we wouldn’t be in this mess now I’ve been a postie 30 + and it was happening then the more RM turn a blind eye the more we try to take now to our detriment because we have technology that records everything even had colleagues sacked in the past for cutting corners and rushing around and it still doesn’t hit home
Overtime depends on the section here. One section told they can get as much as they like, one "no more than 30 minutes a day" one gets told none, not sure of the others

Our number one office overtime guzler still ghosting everyday, getting 4 hours OT for doing one frame plus tracked off another.
So is being paid until 7pm but finishes by 1pm. On top of that he bizarrely is getting away with not even delivering all the tracked off the other frame- seemingly leaving as many as 10-15 wedged in the frame and getting away with it.
Also takes the van home everyday, something he’s been allowed to do for over 2 years now - and he lives over 10 miles away from the DO.
